The slate displays a village scene silhouetted against the snowing night sky.  In the foreground is a frozen river with a couple skating on the ice.  This is a classic image of the season - a perfect hanging decoration to gift for Christmas.
 
As paint does not easily adhere to slate, I have added a layer of varnish for more protection.  Regardless, please refrain from getting it wet.
 
Whilst multiple pieces of this style may be created overtime, each one is guaranteed to be individual - trying to get 2 pieces to be identical is very difficult and time-consuming, but each will be beautiful in its own right.
